Is the Homer Roundhouse comfortable and warm?

Guaranteed. The Homer Roundhouse distributes and holds heat evenly. The furnishings are almost new and the neighborhood is quiet and private. The Homer Roundhouse was constructed with a double insulation package in the walls and ceiling which adds to the warmth and quiet of the ambiance. This wonderful one-bedroom home with loft has everything you could ask for...plus the uniqueness of it being a yurt.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

The Homer Roundhouse sleeps 5 adult guests comfortably. The bedroom has a queen bed and there is a stair-ladder up to the loft which has a queen size memory foam pad. The living room has a full size futon. Please note that the bedroom is semi-private with no door and a guest sleeping in the loft must enter and climb from the bedroom.

What makes the location desirable?

The Homer Roundhouse is located on the bluff right in town. It's on a dead-end road so there is only limited neighborhood traffic. Every town art gallery, cafe, Two Sister's Bakery, museum and other points of interest are within walking distance. The beach, where you can build a fire and enjoy the sunset is just a few yards away. The 'spit' and airport are about four miles away. It really is ideal for Homer.

Who owns and operates
The Homer Roundhouse?

There is a TV for watching movies but no reception or cable. Plenty of DVDs are available.

Is The Homer Roundhouse handicap accessible?

Sorry, no. There is a thirty yard gravel path to the 5 steps up into the yurt.
